Good place for drinks and chit chat after work. There are sofa and normal seats. Would recommend their moscow mule if you are looking for something sweet. They have lots of interesting drinks.
Had the barramundi and duck. Food exceeded expectations! Service was warm and friendly too. Atmosphere was relaxing and the outdoor area was cooling enough despite being there in the afternoon. Prices are not low, but I would say still reasonable given that it’s in town. Will be back!
I've been here quite a few times- sometimes on solo dates, and other times I plan a meal with friends. The service is always top notch, the meals are always delicious and well-prepared, and they're very well-informed on allergies and whatnot. I can't have gluten yet haven't had any issues with options or the right meal coming out. I love how cozy the space is- the decor, layout, music, etc. Please don't change(unless adding more gluten-free options😘)!
Merci Marcel Orchard delivers a fantastic brunch experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and relaxed, the service is top-notch, and the food is simply delicious. Our server was attentive and helpful. The coffee is excellent, a perfect complement to their diverse menu. We ordered the Ham & Cheese Croissant and Poached eggs, both made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. Highly recommended for a memorable brunch outing!

I was actually having a perfectly fine day until two friends I had dinner plans with decided to bail on me. I had reserved a table for 7pm and reminded them (not for the first time) to be punctual. By 7:30pm, they were still nowhere to be seen. When I called, I was hoping for at least an apology, but instead things escalated, and they told me they wouldn’t turn up if I couldn’t wait—and somehow got upset with me for being upset about their lateness. 😞
I love the super thin, crispy pizza they serve. We ordered two different flavors, but the second one — the one with goat cheese — wasn’t really to our liking.
Visited the Orchard branch last evening. It was my second time at Merci Marcel, and once again I was reminded why I love it: generous portions, great quality food, and exceptional service. I had completely forgotten that I’d mentioned celebrating a dear friend’s belated birthday in the reservation notes, so it was such a lovely surprise when the MM team brought out a birthday cake and even sang for her!
The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. The staff, Tyler was very knowledgable about the cheese selection and was able recommend cheese that suited our palette.
My 2nd visit within weeks. Love the steak & barramundi. Best acai bowl i had. Great services & vibes. Love their service as the staffs never fail to ask you if everything is ok. Deeply appreciate a complimentary cake for birthday celebration. Definitely worth visiting & will return again.
